We started Ethon because we kept seeing the same pattern. A strong company, proven at home, would spend a year and several hundred thousand euros trying to enter a new country and walk away with nothing. The product was fine. The first customer was wrong. Or the pricing was off. Or the distribution model did not fit. Or nobody on the ground trusted them yet.
We have both been on every side of this: operators inside companies expanding abroad, advisors running due diligence on cross-border acquisitions, investors backing management teams in new markets. Country expansion is not a strategy problem. Most companies have a strategy. It is an execution problem. Execution in a new country depends on local judgment, local relationships, and a willingness to stop early when the evidence says no.
Ethon provides operators who do the work. We do not write a deck and leave. We start every engagement with a free map because we think you should see what we see before you pay us anything. If the map says go, we validate it on the ground. If it says stop, we tell you. Stopping is a result.
We work on the corridor between Europe and Brazil because that is where we have built our careers and our relationships. We say no to markets we cannot judge. Every engagement leaves something reusable behind: a tested sales motion, a trained local team, a compliance framework. We sometimes take equity alongside fees, because we want our interests to run with yours over time.
